Covid-19: Five B.1.1.7 variant cases detected in Malaysia — Health DG

KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 — There are two more cases of UK B.1.1.7 variant found in the country, bringing the total number cases for the variant to five as at today, said Health director-general, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Health DG: UK variant of Covid-19 case detected in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 12 — A case of Covid-19 variant dubbed ‘UK B.1.1.7’ has been detected in Malaysia yesterday involving a traveller with a history of travel to the United Kingdom last month.
